The following came from the June/July Adventures in Scouting newsletter and might be interesting to our Scouts.  Half of all U.S. astronauts are Scouts and 40 of them are Eagle Scouts. Now you can visit the International Space Station by visiting www.charlesinspace.com  In April, software pioneer Dr. Charles Simonyi traveled to the International Space Station. He wanted to share his experience with kids. You can learn about and see pictures of his experience. Learn about the training he had to prepare for his adventure as well as what it was like to actually take the trip. By clicking on the Scout tab you can take an interactive quiz and earn the official Simonyi mission space patch. Pass the quiz, print the coupon, and take it to your local Scout Shop to redeem.
