Attention Adults Going to Scout Camp - Important

A requirement from council is that any adult who will be attending summer camp, part-time or full-time must be registered prior to going to camp.  This requires an adult application to be completed and submitted with the appropriate dues to the committee chairman at an upcoming troop meeting.

Letter to Parents
Our Camp Scoutmaster has put together a brief letter for the parents of Scouts who are going to Scout camp this summer.  Click HERE to read it.

What to Bring to Camp

Camp Fees Payment Schedule
Payment schedule for the $310.00 total 2012 Scout camp is as follows:

2nd payment due before February 20th, 2012 - $135.00
FINAL payment due before April 20th, 2012 - $135.00
Please note, a $20 late fee will be assessed to any outstanding scout camp balances past April 20th.

If you have any questions regarding this, please contact either Tina Young or Randy Rotert
For those who would like to mail your checks, please send them to:
Troop 391 Treasurer-David Gippner

Please make your checks payable to "Troop 391" and mark them for "Bartle Summer Camp"

Letter to First Year Bartle Campers
This letter will help prepare the parents and Scouts by explaining what to expect and how to "be prepared" for summer camp.  Click HERE for the letter.  Please read this at least a few months prior leaving.  This will allow enough time to prepare.

LABELING PERSONAL GEAR
If you want it to come home from camp, put your son’s name and Troop 391 on it! If it doesn’t have a proper label on it, it may not make the round trip. Label everything with a permanent marker; under the collar, around the waistband, inside the shoe/sock, etc. Also label things like flashlights, Merit Badge books, pocketknives, and other equipment.
